What you will experience
Cade teaches you how to cook wholesome, plant-based meals in his unique clay pots. Following the philosophy of “consciousness over convenience,” he focuses on preparing food from scratch using whole, organic ingredients. Cade’s aim is to welcome you into a respectful connection with your food and where it comes from, inviting you to see cooking as a joyful, creative practice rather than a chore.
Savannah will guide you through life off-grid at the dOMe hOMe and lead you through daily wellness classes focused on intuitive movement, re-wilding practices, and mindful connection to nature. She’ll help you engage fully with the rhythms of the elements, supporting you in slowing down, grounding, and tapping into your intuition, which leads you back to your truest self.
For the first time, Cade and Savannah collaborate to offer a one-of-a-kind retreat experience, weaving together elemental cooking, embodied wellness, deep connection to nature, and off-grid living. Step into this immersive week to explore, learn, and return home with new skills, fresh inspiration, and a rekindled sense of presence.

Meet the Team

Cade McConnell is the cook behind Om Cade - a plant-based catering business operating in the Byron Bay Shire. Cade was raised in a small coastal town on Worimi Country, Forster Tuncurry. His upbringing seeded a deep appreciation for the wild aliveness of the Australian land and sea.
His travels to the Indian subcontinent gifted him a connection to Yoga and Vipassana meditation, which have become dedicated practices in his life. Cade's approach to cooking is an extension of his spiritual practice, a creative and devotional avenue. He uses organic and local market ingredients and cooks in clay pots using unprocessed whole foods.
Through his cookbook, catering and workshops, he hopes to inspire others to relate to food and life with reverence, as part of a collective contribution to a more peaceful and harmonious world.

Savannah Fox is the co-founder of the dOMe hOMe Retreat in Baja Sur, Mexico, and a devoted leader in wellness, slow-living, and authentic self-expression. With over 11 years in the wellness space, Savannah has guided hundreds of people through intuitive movement, re-wilding practices, and accessing the world’s finest hydration.
Dedicated to helping you unlock your creative potential and embrace the power of vulnerability, she helps you reignite the wild within and explore what true success really looks like—beyond material, financial, and social achievements—to reconnect with your creative essence, intuition, and truest self.

Andrea Finella will be the photographer for this event, bringing her gift for capturing people and places in their most natural expression. Her lens is more than a tool—it’s a storyteller, revealing the essence of diverse bodies, cultures, and the quiet poetry of landscapes.
Her work has been featured in distinguished publications such as online Vogue Living and the local Oaxaca gem, Idilica Magazine and images featured in cookbook “Plants, Clay and Fire” by Cade McConnell. With years of experience and an eye for depth and softness, Andrea is the perfect photographer to capture and reflect the heart of this gathering.
