Earth Building Workshop

Jan 17th – 24th, 2026

Welcome to the woman-guided Earth Building Workshop in Baja California Sur, co-hosted by Alexandra Cherot-Dalle, founder of Sanctuarium, and Savannah Fox, the co-founder of dOMe hOMe Retreat

We are joined by guest teacher Rysh Luz—designer, builder, and creator of the earthbag dOMe hOMe technology. Devoted to off-grid living, you’ll often find Rysh in the garden, orchard, art studio, or immersed in natural building projects. He brings a wealth of lived experience and is eager to share his life’s work, lessons, and pro tips for building, creating, and living successfully outside the cultural matrix.

Alexandra will be guiding participants through the art of natural clay building and plastering, while weaving in her unique approach to sanctuary design, embodiment, and the connection between inner and outer spaces.

Savannah will be offering the re-wilding and wellness thread of this workshop—through slow, intentional moments in the garden, cooking nourishing and beautiful meals, and holding space for optional practices like yoga, dance, breathwork, and meditation. Supporting you in reconnecting with your body, the land, and your innate wildness.

With a collective 40+ years of earth building and natural plaster experience, we will be guiding you through three phases of the building process as we co-create a beautiful outdoor kitchen that will serve future residents and retreat groups; a lasting, living structure shaped by many hands.

Dates: January 17-24, 2026
